The positions are described below:
Office Assistant - FT position. Job responsibilities
include scheduling jobs, providing information
to callers, and communicating schedule requests
to employees. Candidate must have professional
phone etiquette, follow directions well, work
independently, multi-task, have the ability to
stay on top of paperwork and changing schedules,
strong communication skills (both written and
oral), ability to work in a fast-paced, fun environment,
have an energetic and positive attitude, and enjoy
working with people.
Pet Sitter - Responsible for walking
dogs and caring for cats while owners are away.
Visits are performed between the hours of 6-9am,
6-9pm, and sometimes middays between 11am and
3pm on weekends. Candidate must be available to
work mornings, evenings, and weekends. Candidate
will be assigned jobs within a 5-mile radius of
their home. Other responsibilities include tracking
your schedule in a calendar or day planner, checking
email and internet daily. Candidates must pass
a criminal background check, and most importantly,
must be flexible and enjoy being a team player.
Midday Dog Walker - Responsible for walking
dogs Monday through Friday between the hours of
11am and 3pm, while owners are at work. Candidate
will be assigned jobs within a 5-mile radius of
their home. Other responsibilities include tracking
your schedule in a calendar or day planner, checking
email and internet daily. Candidates must pass
a criminal background check, and most importantly,
must be flexible and enjoy being a team player.
Daycare Staff - (Facility is located
at 4140 S. Four Mile Run Dr, Arlington, VA 22206)
Job responsibilities include supervising dog play
activities, keeping the play area clean, and walking
dogs at predetermined times. Candidate should
have strong dog behavior skills, an understanding
of pack behavior, ability to remain calm and react
to aggressive play, dog handling skills, timely,
responsible, strong communication skills, flexibility,
enjoy work as a team player, and have good problem
solving skills. Shifts are Monday through Friday
7am - 1pm (6 hours), 1pm - 7pm (6 hours), 10am
- 3pm (5 hours), or Saturdays 9am - 4pm (7 hours).
