FlockGuard provides essential information about all
aspects of dogs historically utilized as livestock
guardians (such as Great Pyrenees, Anatolian Shepherds,
Tibetan Mastiffs, Kuvasz and others), including extensive
breed(s) information, health, training and resource
pointers. Both companion and working dog information
is covered. FlockGuard recently changed from a pet/companion
dog oriented discussion group to a serious comprehensive
forum covering all aspects of livestock guardian dog
ownership. A "Farm" topic has been added for information
of particular interest to ranchers and working dog
owners. The list is now moderated to stay on-topic
and reduce chatter.
