How to help: Volunteer

1. Volunteers and their dogs to help at MetroPets information tables.
2. Internet Researchers to help us verify information and add to our web site. Only browsing skills and access to email is required.
3. Web developers to assist at ATAP training sessions.
4. Web developers to work individually with animal organizations in our ATAP program.
5. Several Managerial/Administrative positions available.
6. Membership Coordinator needed as primary point of contact between potential members and MetroPets, and between members and MetroPets' officers and Board of Directors.
7. Virtual Office Administrator to house files, documents, supplies, keys, other MetroPets materials, and perform administrative tasks.
8. The Outreach Coordinator will have primary responsibility over MetroPets' public visibility events.
9. Seeking Editor to help with the newsletter "MetroPets Offline."
10. Need Volunteers for Yellow Pages Project.

New Committees Forming: Thank you to those people who have already expressed interest in working on these committees. We could still use more volunteers, however. If you would like to volunteer, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator.

1. Education committee. Members will review current training and educational seminars and determine what other programs could be implemented. This will include technical training, humane education, disaster preparedness, and others.
   
2. Fundraising committee. Members will review current methods of raising money for MetroPets operations and come up with new ideas, and work on implementing these. It is fairly urgent that we get this going. A fundraising meeting will be scheduled within the next 2 weeks! No experience needed.
